Our History
Hartley McMaster (HMcM) is specialist management and analytical consultancy focused on the use of Applied Mathematics and Artificial Intelligence to solve complex business problems.
The firm was founded in 1991 by Martin and Pam Slaughter and consists of a team that have strong numerate qualifications, mainly with a PhD or MSc in O.R., Physics, or Mathematics from top institutions, including Oxford, Cambridge, Imperial College London, etc.
We are a pioneer in commercialising Applied Mathematics and our mission for more than 30 years has been to bring advanced mathematical tools and methods to bear on highly complex business problems.
