Our History
Hartley McMaster (HMcM) is specialist management and analytical consultancy focused on the use of Applied Mathematics and Operational Research (O.R.) to solve complex business problems.

The firm was founded in 1991 by Martin and Pam Slaughter and consists of a team that have strong numerate qualifications, mainly with a PhD or MSc in O.R., Physics, or Mathematics from top institutions, including Oxford, Cambridge, Imperial College London, etc.

We are a pioneer in commercialising the discipline of O.R. and our mission for more than 30 years has been to bring advanced O.R. tools and methods to bear on highly complex business problems.
